Hi! My name is Kaliyah and some traits about me that help me to be a great caregiver is my ability to be understanding, compassionate, and a great communicator. My personal experience being a caregiver to my loved ones also adds to this. What attracted me to being a caregiver is wanting to help those who need it most. I have seen first hand and experienced what it's like to not be physically and mentally able to do for yourself and a little bit of help from a helping hand goes a long way. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is giving those in need back their sense of independence because as you grow in life it's important to hold on to that. Making my client feel that someone cares and has time to spend with them. Making it through a final transition phase with a client even though it's the hardest thing to do!
