I became a caregiver because of a family member who became very ill. I became his caretaker and enjoyed taking care of him even though it was a difficult time for me. From the age of 12 My Grandmother suffered from many illnesses ( Diabetes, Dementia, and Alzheimer's along with Several Strokes). Growing up in a family oriented environment I felt it was my duty to help/assist her. Every since then I knew that this was the field I wanted to pursue my career in. Bringing joy and smiles to my client's faces while still providing professional and loving care. Being able to give those in need excellent care and professional services. I'm recently married and just relocated from Michigan to Georgia I'm a very loving and outgoing People's person who loves life. I love achieving the goals I set and I'm always striving to do better. I became a caregiver when I was still going to school when I would visit the Elderly Home and assist the patient with bathing, feeding, take them for walks....then my dad took sick when I had to care for him. That's when I became a Caregiver.

I become interested in caregiving after after I started taking care of my Aunt with a stroke. Why did I become a caregiver you ask. Growing up I always was around the older women in my family. I loved listening to all the old stories. When my grandma got sick I watched how her CNA will just come in and do her anyway. It break my heart. As I got older the love got stronger for elderly.
