I am a passionate caregiver who is extremely dedicated to fulfilling the needs of the elderly. Over the course of my career, I have developed the necessary skills directly relevant to the role of being a Caregiver, as well as performing these skills confidently and successfully. I became a Caregiver due to the fact that at a young age, I assisted with the caring of my elder family members in any way that I could. I enjoy the many stories, jokes, and advice told by the elderly allowing us to build and form a new bond. One of my greatest achievement is being able to give my clients a happy and a good quality of life during the time they need it the most.

I became a caregiver because i care about people. I help took care of older relatives and friends. I have a passionate to help others. I enjoy the companionship and being able to make difference in the client life. I enjoy getting clients up and moving around and being more social. I've working in medical field most of my work history. I did Nursing years ago. I have 17 years of Pharmacy . I've worked in foster care for 21 years. I do Home Nursing now, I have one client that I've had for 4 1/2 years. I've work with ADHD severe,Autisium,handicap wheelchair dependant. I help with meals,feeding errands,grooming,bathing,toileting,transferring.

Why did you become a caregiver? I love to take care of people and nurture those in need. 2. What do you like about being a caregiver? I love being helpful and helping others that are in need of assistance. 3. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? A personal achievement i'm proud of was to be able to take care of my grandmother in her time of need for 10 years. 4. Tell us something about yourself. I'm a very cheerful person, honest, trusted, hard working and eager to excel in everything that i do.

I have about 7 years experience as a caregiver.l have worked a variety of cases, l have the skills, empathy and training to provide quality services and top level care. I am most proud of the fact that l can help my clients and watch them recover.

I was raised by my grandmother who was at the time taking care of my grandfather(her husband) who was bed bound for over 10 years, so i got an opportunity to learn first hands on becoming an extra hand for my grand mother,she was compassionate, very caring, clean and very efficient.Am a great caregiver today from the values i learnt from my grandmother, am reliable, efficient, affectionate,caring and a hard worker. I love being a caregiver, i have been doing it for the last 12 years, i have learnt alot throu the years, making a difference, putting a smile on the faces of my clients, being there when they need help,offering companionship by just sitting down with them in there kitchen table while going thru there family albums, recipes and family history. A personal achievement am proud of is that i have become a better and and a wonderful caregiver to so many families i have come in to contacts with, am a the caregiver iam today because of what i have been able to learn from them, the joy and the experience is priceless.

I'm a caregiver an ive been in this field for 15 years. I have lots of experience in this field i have work in homes, hospital an assisted living.I'm a christian an i love what i do. I feel that this is my calling from god he says in his word take care of the children an the elderly.

I think that my ability to sooth people and make them comfortable makes me a great caregiver. I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I love being a service to others. I have been awarded on many occasions for my services to others but what make me proud is knowing that I can make a difference in someone else's life.

Being born to older parents I believe gives me the distinct advantage of knowing what it feels like to entrust your loved ones care to someone else. My everyday goal is to be the same type of caregiver that I would want caring for my parent or loved one .
