I am a compassionate loving woman who loves caring for others. I've recently ended my military career after serving for 7 years now I am ready to serve others. I am in nursing school and I have about 16 months left. I currently have my Nursing Assistant certification as well as my BLS certificate. My long term goal is to become a Registered Nurse at a hospital. While I am in nursing school, I would love the opportunity to work with families as a caregiver. I love people and I have never met a stranger. I believe that if I take great care of the elderly or whoever, when I get old someone will definitely take care of me. I have six children that I basically raised by myself when my husband left us. I have been through a lot but I have always had a special love for people. I have learned over the years that love goes without saying but its awesome to know and treated like you are loved. I will do my best to make sure my clients are treated with love and the upmost respect at all times. I am trustworthy, dependable, punctual and a team player. I will do my very best at all times to make sure my clients are taken care of.

I became a caregiver because I love taking care of people, it gives me a pleasure to see that I can help people who can't help themselves. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I was able to be a caregiver for my mom who had brain cancer but passed last June due to her illness,and still worked as a c.n.a in geriatrics.

Some of them do not like it when we are separating because of the relationship. This reminds me of a time when I worked with an old lady back in my country who was hospitalized and her family was living far off in another town. I was her caregiver from the time she was hospitalized till she left. When it was time for her to go home, she was crying because didn't want to go.

I am detail oriented and a well-organized team player. Never misses deadline and a good listener. I can do multiple tasks at once.

I enjoy being a help for others, caring and having patience are my qualities. Seeing people that really appreciate help and knowing that someone is here to be there in their time of need.

I worked in the health field over 12 years and I absolutely love what I do and I take pride in my work. I first started caring for my auntie that was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and I never stopped caring for others since that day. The part that I love is just knowing that I make a big difference in someone else life just brings so much joy to my heart! I have enrolled in the nursing program to obtain my bachelors of science in nursing so that one day in the near future I will graduate with my nursing degree.
