I'm a committed, compassionate and a caring Certified Nursing Assistant with 29 years' successful caring and providing service to residents and clients suffering from different kinds of diseases and disabilities. I have the ability to handle clients concerns and ensure their safety and comfort. I'm a very good communicator who communicates effectively with staff, clients, families and all level of management.

I have been a personal caregiver for over 6 years and I thoroughly enjoy and love the elderly. I first had the previlege of caring for my late husband. I see caregiving job as a ministry to give back to those who have given so much in their lifetime. In addition to providing companionship, I can help monitor medications, prepare delicious meals, keep home and laundry clean. I can transport my client to doctor's appointment as necessary. My main focus is to attend to the needs of each individual on a personal level, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

I became a Certified Nursing Assistant because my grandmother was having a hard time when she became up to age and she needed some type of assistance. I was caregiver for my dad for ten years he needed me to care for his daily needs. After his second brain surgery that he lost his long term memory. I couldn't mind since my dad cared for me when I was a baby to teen-years. So I couldn't turn my back on him. Plus as a nurse assistance it is my job to care for the client in their time of need. That I gave my dad the best care as a parent would give to a child. I am the mother of two grown children a son and a daughter and my son-In-law and two grandchildren Autumn and Gabriel. I am graduate from Brown Mackie College from Atlanta for medical assistance for one year program. I am have certificate nurse assistance for 20 years in nursing home, senior care home and ten years of caregiver experience. I am the type of person that I care about others well being to get better to their old self again. I believe that what I am doing will make them well again or feel better while I'm care for your love one. I am the kind of person that is down to earth, out going, caring, warm hearted, and silly person that wear my heart on my sleeves. I have been in the caregiver business for 24 years every since 1990 when I graduate from nurse assistance school.

I love people and I have never met a stranger. I believe that if I take great care of the elderly or whoever, when I get old someone will definitely take care of me. I have six children that I basically raised by myself when my husband left us. I have been through a lot but I have always had a special love for people. I have learned over the years that love goes without saying but its awesome to know and treated like you are loved. I became a caregiver because I care and love helping others. I'm very passionate about this field that I'm in. Why you might ask, because of my mother. It started 23 years ago when she became very ill. I was her caregiver. Doing this time it was hard for me. I lived in another state and I also had a 2 year old. When she became ill I moved back home to take care of her even though I had 3 older siblings and 1 younger sibling. I want to be the one that she can lean and depend on. Doing this time she had her leg amputated. I had to learn how to do sterile dressing and assist her with using a colostomy bag. I also prepared her meals for her and schedule her doctor appointments. I enjoyed taking care of her. Just knowing that I was able to be there for her made me very happy. It was stressful at times but I wouldn't change one second of it. That was my high lite of my day just knowing she was well taking care of. I learned a lot about my self doing this time; I've learned that I had a lot patient and compassion for others. This experience have change my life for the better. It gave me the drive and the determination to take care of others, other family members and to become a CNA.
