My personality is caring, observent, organized, and detail orientated. Which is a few, I love to make people laugh and talk positive about what a person can be better if they are willing to try. The reason that I have gone to school to take care of others which started with my grandmother getting very ill. I took care of her until she past away and continue the mission to make every day count that the person's life as well as mine. My expertise is working with mentally challenged, and physically. As a caregiver I can help out with a simple task as well as a difficult one. I do light housekeeping, cook, errands like grocery store and take to doctor's appointment. A caregiver that cares and goes above beyond of the duties to make the person being comfortable.

I have had a passion for caring for seniors at a very young age. It all started with me caring for my neighbor Ms. Jackson when I was just 13 years old but she didn't have any children but she as always so kind to me. I've worked in a nursing home, have had some private duty cases and I've cared for adults with disabilities. My grandmother ran a group home for children with disabilities and I believe this is where my passion to care for others came from. I take pride in providing care for those who can't care for themselves anymore. I feel that just because you've gotten older and can't do for yourself as you once did, you should still be able to maintain your dignity and self respect. That is my goal as a provider to help each individual maintain as much independence as possible and to provide the best care needed. I've care for many people in my life time but the return on what I've gained is beyond words.

I've been a caregiver for over 15 great years, I'm a honest hard worker, I've had long relationships with my clients and families, my goals are to make sure my clients get the full care, love and attention they need, I work with my heart, me and my past clients both all agree that this is my calling, I will go that extra mile for my clients and their families. I've had to take care of my paraplegic nephew because he wasn't getting the care he needed from the facility he was in, so I went to school for medical assistant so I could learn to take care of him in the future, that's what attracted me to become a caregiver. I mostly enjoy helping those who can't care for themselves. My personal achievement comes from my clients and their families happy with me and my services as a caregiver.

I am a 41 year old CNA/Nursing Student/Breast Cancer survivor and I'm also a mother of 3 wonderful daughters. I became a caregiver because I love helping others and caring for those who can't perform or need assistance with their daily activities. When I was a young girl my mother was diagnosed with MS and my siblings and I were responsible for helping her with her daily activities and from that moment forward I knew that was my calling. In the past I have taken care of several loved ones and others until they're last moment here and thats what I feel like I am here to do, its my passion. I love being able to make a difference in someone else's life and help make them happy.

I believe in delivering quality of life for seniors and clients of any age! Showing compassion through sincere listening and being present for the clients I care for is a top priority. Through home visits with various agencies, live-in care, and working with an Assisted Living Center my combined services to the elderly have helped me thrive in the industry of caring. In the realm of younger folks, I drove a school bus for years and taught home schooled children including my own. I taught a class on self-empowerment based on the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series too. The classes I taught were an eye-opener and perhaps opened the door to a new way of viewing life. The life experiences I've had with Seniors who have become family to me and ultimately my friends has given me much more than I could have possibly conceived of giving to them! I found that with kids, being present and seeing the beautiful gifts they have inside always brought those gifts out with the acknowledgement. The services I've provided are most assuredly a soul's calling! Senior care and working with younger folks has been a perfect fit with my desire to make a difference with others, and the kind of career I totally enjoy! I have a knack for understanding human nature and the needs of the heart and naturally, I learned this through my own life experiences. We all are truly one when it comes to matters of the heart and what this life means! Applying the knowledge of our oneness is what the care of others is all about. I'm seeing my own reflection in the hearts of those that I serve in this type of work. From that seeing, I give the best of who I am to others! Importantlly too is the fact that I am CPR and First Aid Certified and have over 20 years experience caring for Seniors. I DO CHARGE A 48 HOUR CANCELLATION FEE FOR SCHEDULE CHANGES. We will work together out of mutual respect, integrity and most importantly sincere caring and loyalty.

What make me a great care giver is the love and care I have for my patient. I love to bond with them so that I know exactly how they like everything so that I can meet their needs. I am on time and and follow directions well. I became a caregiver because one of my hobby's is nurturing I love caring and helping people. As a Certified MedTech I have expertise in serving chronically ill patients by assisting them with Medication management, daily living activities and general household tasks, grooming and bathing assistance, house hold tasks, feeding assistance, I also have 1yr 8 month in healthcare Administration .As my resume states I have worked in the field and the skills that I gained are compassion, time management, effectiveness, patient focus, and provide reassurance to the client that I am willing and capable to assist and provide the most effective care and support.
