I went into healthcare right out of high school and have been in the field since. I love providing care for all ages. Its my passion. I'm currently in school to continue my education in nursing. I volunteer at my local animal control. I am very passionate about animal care and protecting them from abuse. I current foster animals to get them ready for their furever home.

I was created to give care, and help to heal with my hands, through my heart, using natural remedies mostly. I have had my youthful times of being youthful, lol, yet I've been giving care since I was a little school girl. Hi my name is Erin. Let me start by telling you why I got into this line of work to begin with. My dad is 60 yrs old now but in 2013 he was diagnosed with leukemia. He went through several rounds of chemo and then his bone marrow transplant. After a bone marrow transplant they give you medicine to keep you from rejecting the transplant. He was so sick and not getting any better. He began having siezures which lead the doctors to do more tests to find out why and when they did they found that he was allergic to the medicine and it had caused him to have several strokes. From there he went on to an acute care facility and to rehab but he was never the same. It left him paralyzed. While he was in and out if these facilities we saw so many things that were just wrong. Patients calling for nurses and the nurses never went to help. After that we took him home and mother and I learned to care for my father ourselves. After all that I decided I was going to go into home healthcare to care for people so that they didn't have to go to a nursing home because people deserve to be loved and cared for just like my father. This personal experience is what makes me a great caregiver.

I have always had a desire and passion to take care of others whether it's children, the elderly, disabled, or anyone in need of care. I gave care to my mother, who had cancer and was confined to a bed. The same love and compassion that was given to my mother during her care, will be the same love and compassion given to your loved ones.

Understanding is my best trait an makes me very qualified for your needs an expectations. I was attracted to become a caregiver threw the love and patients I have for others. Putting a smile on others faces by showing them that together all things are possible is what I enjoy the most in being a caregiver. Becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant is one of my greatest accomplishments.

I am a very warm, caring, and friendly person. I love helping others. I have worked with Special Needs and the Elderly and I adore working with them both equally. I helped take care of my own Grandmother when she was legally blind so I think that is what attracted me to Caregiving.
