I started as a care giver when i took care of my grandma when she got sick.since then its makes me feel good to help my old folks and people that needed my service.Being a care giver is not a simple job,it takes hard work and dedication to be trusted by people you work for.its an achievement to see happy faces in people bcuz they like and appreciate the service you rendered. I been in medical field since 1994,im asian and i moved here in America last 2006. I worked as a CNA for more than 6 yrs since then and a year ago i got my certificate and license as a Phlebotomist.

Hello, my name is Ala and I’m a CNA with more than three years of experience. I chose a CNA job because I took care of my grandmother when I was a teenager. Since then, I dreamt about working with geriatric people and helping those who are in need. CNA is a job where mercy, compassion, and wisdom of life play a huge role. This profession carries with it not only assistance to specific individuals, but also sets an example for the humane attitude of man to man. Other than the impossibility to perform activities of daily living, the main psychological problem of the elderly person is loneliness. The CNA worker is expected to help people accept their own old age, find themselves at this stage of life, and prolong their vitality. One more thing that attracts me in my profession is opportunity to speak to my clients. As you know, older people have seen a lot in their lives so they can give one a wise piece of advice and it is interesting to listen about their lives.

I'm a very happy loving , compassionate and outgoing person , love to help ppl especially the elderly, I'm a mother of 7 four biological and 3 adopted. I also have my mother who is 80 yrs old which I love spending time and helping her out in her daily activities. I have enjoyed being a caregiver because i can't think of another job that can be so rewarding. It's a beautiful feeling knowing that you can make a difference every day in a person life .

I became a care giver while attending computer system institute where I received medical assistant certification, EKG technician certification, Phlebotomy certification, and CPR certification. I love to help people and being a home care aide plays a big role in peoples lives.
