Being a caregiver is one of my main career interests, as I am in nursing school right now to finish my bachelor's degree and pursue a career in nursing. I grew up in a big family, with seven siblings (five of which are younger than me), my mom and dad, and my grandmother who struggled with Alzheimers and lived with us until she passed away in 2017. Since I was little, I have always loved giving back to others through care. It's not always what you do, but how you do it and why you do it, that makes being a caregiver so special. I enjoy meeting new people, trying new hobbies (like painting or scrapbooking), learning, singing, and doing whatever it is I can to best accommodate those in my care.
