My experience varys from client to client. Most of my clients that I have worked with have some degree of Alzheimer's. I would say that I'm very experienced in that department. My availability as far as scheduling varys. I enjoy working more hours then fewer hours. I like to work over night care the most. I have been a CNA for 10 years, and have worked in all different situations in many different facilities. I aspire to go further with my nursing degree, and eventually, hopefully become an RN like my mom. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me a sense of purpose, I enjoy helping people. What made me become a caregiver actually I've been doing caregiving jobs for a long time. I did 7 years of daycare and then after that I've been working in the MRDD field been a DSP caring for people with disability. I been there for 5 years & still present at that job. The last two years I've been working as a home health aide I actually love being a caregiver for all different type of Ages and all different type of people I love to hear people life stories and see what makes them smile and happy and a little bit of my little story along with it.

I took care of my Mom when she was going thru Chemotherapy for colon cancer. I love to read and have read books out load to keep a depressed person relaxed and content in a nursing home. I enjoy visiting with the elderly and listening to their stories. We can learn so much from them. I've raised 3 boys, all grown now. My oldest son blessed me with my 1st granddaughter and I love spending time with her.

Hello, there. My name is Mariah and I'm a hardworking, down to earth country girl. I enjoy spending my free time reading, going on long walks with my dog, hiking, sipping hot tea and cooking. I'm an excellent cook and I have culinary training. I've always been interested in caregiving ever since I was a child. Babysitting for family members turned into me becoming a professional nanny at age 22. I also grew up with my elderly father in the house and was his primary caretaker while my mother worked 2 full time jobs. I had to go to high school online to stay home and help take care of my father. Which, if I'm being honest, I wasn't too excited about missing out on high-school...but now when I look back, those are the memories I cherish most with my father because it was just he and I. I'd drive him to run errands, cook for him, we'd play games and watch the history channel. It made me happy to see him full of life even though I knew he was struggling. I've overcome a lot of obstacles in life and I'm very thankful to be where I am today. I work hard, save my money and I travel when I can and most importantly, I get to do it all right next to my family. CPR & First aid certified 2022
