I am loving caring outgoing always willing to learn something new willing to go above and beyond I have patients I listen to my patients I respect your decisions and just give them a lot of companionship .What attracts me to being a caregiver is just helping someone that can help their self and know that they appreciate that letting them know that there still are good people out there that don't take a vanish of them and that's willing to make the days better and brighter

I became a caregiver simply because I've always enjoyed taking care of people. When I was a little girl, I would take care of my mother when she became ill. She always encouraged me to become a nurse. Being a great caregiver is having compassion, a desire to ensure the well being of others and being dedicated to providing excellent care. I'm extremely proud of having four successful years of homecare experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and I'm hoping to acquire many more.

I've been doing this for 30 years and that's a long time in this field. Iam also a certified nurses aide. This is my true calling . The elderly paved the way for me and I have the upmost respect for them

I have been a caregiver for 8 years.I chose this proffesion because i enjoy working with elderly people and being an advocate for them. I enjoy getting to know them and hearing the stories of their lives.I was a med assist for 17 years and have alot of medical training including alzheimers and dementia training.I. have great refrences that were clients that can verify my work skills, honesty ,and integrity. I am available for first shift mon- friday, as early as 6 am until 6 pm. I care about everyone I meet. I try to learn their likes and dislike so that we can form a great understanding. I became a caregiver because people have always been a very nice to me and I've always wanted to give back that which I feel is part of my belief. I feel if you can help someone that is the greats gift you can give. I am proud that if I can make a person remember me from the services I have perform then I take that as I have done my best. Make sure you leave the with smile on their face.

I think because I'm to caring. And over passionate. I mainly got started in the health field. Because I lost my grandparents when I was in my early 20's. And I was extremely close with them. And since starting the health career. I have got an Assoc degree. And I'm a state license STNA.

My mother was a nurse and I enjoyed being a part of that atmosphere, I started out being an nurses assistant and I found it more enjoyable being STNA . That is a state tested nursing aid it took me two hospitals nursing facilities and it gave me a greater appreciation for what we do and now I'm able to enjoy home healthcare which is just as enjoyable one on one private care I'm able to apply many things that I've learned over the years which helps me and the client in daily activities I have extensive nursing training there is no situation that I have not yet experienced I enjoy being a part of the healthcare field. When my mother took ill I was able to take care of her and know exactly what the doctors were talking about that was a huge achievement to be able to be supportive and stand firm on my mother's wants and needs.

I became a caregiver in 2008 it been one of my favorite things to do when I was younger I guess because all the weman were LPN,Rn and stna so which made me push forward and want to help people an I turn out to love it an my goal was to make sure my clients is treated with respect an make them feel love safe treat them how u would want your relative to be treated an that's all ways been my goal to keep a smile on there face an I make sure I accomplish it.

I have been a STNA for almost 10 yrs now and I love what I do! I have worked in all aspects of the field. I've worked in long term care, memory care, rehabilitation, hospice, and home care. I have also worked at an mrdd facility in the past. I believe in order to do your job to the best of your ability you have to love what u do. I decided when I graduated high school in 2006 that I wanted to be apart of the healthcare field. That's when I got into the medical billing and coding program at Fortis college,graduated from that program and spent another year furthering my education in healthcare with billing and coding. After graduating and realizing it was going to be harder than I thought to get a job in those areas without furthering my education more ( more money) I went back again for STNA. I enjoy my patients and taking care of them like they were my own [?]. It makes me feel good knowing I made someone else's day go smoother. I like to make sure my people are comfortable after all thats what I'm there to do
