Hello My name is Wendy Chester. I have been taking care of people for 10+years. At one point I was a CNA working at a nursing home. I left that position because my husbands grandmother became ill and I decided to take care of her. Taking care of others is what I have always enjoyed doing. I have been taking care of people in their homes and get a great joy in my heart when I return and see the smile on their face. I am a nonsmoker and have cats and dogs. I have two grown daughters. My oldest just graduated nursing school and my youngest is in nursing school. As you can see we are a family that enjoys taking care of others.
I have always been a caregiver. I started helping my brother with his children at the age of ten, while also assisting my grandmother with ADL's all throughout high school. I have a nurturing nature, and I love helping others. I like working with kids, elderly people, and adults with developmental disabilities. I also enjoy working in hospitals and group homes. I have been awarded "Employee of the month" twice in the 2 1/2 years I have been employed at my current job and look forward to becoming your valued employee.
