Hello, I consider myself a warm, compassionate person with a gift of patience. I empathize with many because I know what it feels like to need someone one to lend a hand and how difficult it may be to ask for that help when needed. At age 15, I cared for my dying mother and father, and decided to dedicate my life to be of service to others who could no longer care for themselves. I can honestly say that care giving brings out the best in me. When I see a need, whether it be physical, mental or spiritual one, I am challenged to work with the families to help fulfill that need. Everyone deserves that kind of experience in life and I believe everyone needs somebody. I am very proud to be a caregiver for the last 35 years and the families I have met have enriched my life and have helped me grow as a person. Care giving is a choice to make the world a better place.

I am a great caregiver because I actually wanted to become a nurse because I was raised by my grandmother and I watched her be a caregiver to her parents and kids and also raise me as a daughter and I am her granddaughter. My great grandmother had multiple sclerosis when I was growing up as a young child and she lived next door to us. I used to go help my grandma take care of her till she got bedridden and passed. Both of my grandfathers also had Alzheimer's, dementia and Parkinson's I was also a full-time caregiver to one of them as a young adult. What I enjoy most about being a nurse and a caregiver is companionship. Everyone needs somebody especially the elderly it's very lonely when you get older and I love being a nurse/ caregiver to have my client feel that Most beautiful experience of Someone that actually cares.

I am a caring and dependable person i love helping others. I became a caregiver to help people who need it when families are not available or at work. After caring for my daughter with Rhabdomyo Sarcoma Cancer for some years I decided that "Medical Field "is most definitely for me,Some clients doesn't have a child or love one to give the care or love so that's why I decided to join this field I have a passion for sharing and Caring and companionship Since 2004 til present I have been caring for those with or without disabilities. Caregiving is a very personal job, still I find ways to incorporate love, humor, cheerfulness, fun, hope, trust and optimism into my care. I love that I get the opportunity to listen and learn about thier lives as it allows me to live vicariously through their many adventures, life accomplishments and travels. I find capturing their legacy most fascinating...respecting their dignity. 1. What makes you a great caregiver? I prefer to let my clients and their families answer that for themselves. What I can share is that integrity, competence, and humility--putting others first--are at the core of who I strive to be --in this life. These values guide how I serve, listen, and care for others each day. 2. Why did you become a caregiver? I became a caregiver because I truly love people. Serving others feels like one of the purest ways to express genuine love--the kind described by the writers of the New Testament. As Douglas Adams said, "To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity." 3. What do you like about being a caregiver? It brings me great joy to know my care meets a client's needs and gives their family peace of mind--allowing them to rest without worry or guilt. Having two disabled family members myself, I understand the trust and vulnerability that come with allowing someone into that circle of care. 4. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? I was privileged to serve on a professional team caring for a quadriplegic client, providing full home care--meals, bathing, transfers (without a Hoyer lift), and colostomy and catheter care. I was later chosen to assist a family supporting a loved one with severe Autism and, more recently, helped provide 24-hour care for another quadriplegic client requiring advanced support. Outside caregiving, I successfully self-prepared for a proctored Microsoft certification exam and have taught myself conversational Spanish and basic Mandarin Chinese. 5. Tell us something about yourself. I'm a grandfather of four and remain physically active. I'm also a lifelong student of the Bible who enjoys gospel hymns, nature, animals, gardening, walking, ping pong, and audiobooks.

I became a caregiver because I love caring for others and I like knowing that I made a difference in someone's life. I am very proud of myself for becoming independent. I am very friendly, honest, a people person, and I am always smiling, even on my worst days. I have a great sense of humor and I also love anticipating the needs of others.

I am a kindhearted professional specializing in the field of caregiving. I have expertise in working with brain injury patients. Losing people close to me who were terminally ill attracted me to being a caregiver. I find joy in dedicating my life to the overall health and wellness of all patients.
