I am a great caregiver because I care fully for the client. I follow all instructions to the letter and ask when unsure. I am attracted to caregiving because I am a caring person. My great grand parents were old and unwell; if only they had better care they would have lived just a little bit longer. I am attracted to caregiving because I think to hat I can make a difference. I enjoy being a companion to the elderly as well as fetching and bringing whatever it is they desire.

What makes me a great caregiver is because I love to share my love to other. Before I became a Nursing Assistant I was a caregiver for 6 years. I was a little girl helping my grandmother every weekend. I would prepare here meals feed her, bath her and everything. She would talk me through everything I needed to do. Then I really enjoyed taking care of her I went until the real world and started doing it on my own. I feel in love with it after that and I been loving it every since. What I like about being a caregiving. Is that I can be a blessing to someone by putting a smile on there face. Making someone feel safe are just giving them some on my time. Some patient don't even have family that want even go check on them. It makes my day when I can bless someone by perparing a meal are giving a warm bath. I have a really loving heart I treat my patients like my family because in my eyes they are like apart of my family. I love to pray with my patients I take them home in my prayers. My personal achievement im proud of is becoming a loving, caring and honest person....

I have been a CNA for over 30 yrs single worked in hospitals hospic nursing home doctor office home heltth etc became a CNA in 1983 after my mother was ill knew then I wonted to help people love being a care giver cause the joy of helping someone get better or help them in their needs.
