Hi I'm a nurse assistant (CNA with 12 years of experience. I'm HHA, PCA, CPR & FIRST AID medical assistant certified. I've worked 8 years in a nursing home. I have experience with Dementia, Alzheimer, & Parkinson's patients. The reason I love to take care of the elderly is because it allows me to give back to families by being a helping hand. I'm patient, kind & humble.

I wanted to help Seniors, I know it is very hard for family to see there love ones going thrue a very difficult time,i wanted to do something because i know is the way i will like to be treated when i get older or any of my family,it is very inportant to me to make a Senior feal they are still love an respected. I've been a caregiver for 5 years now and it feels great,I became a caregiver after moving from Georgia back in 2009 , I didn't plan on staying there for long but after awhile I got use to the job and the best thing I love about my job is going to patients home not knowing who you going to deal with but at the end of the day my service to them is always appreciate and must of all putting a smile on the patients face and giving them the best care that they deserve is so important to me.

I am a hard worker.I grew up with my grandparents and eventually had to help them as they grew older.Which led me to a career working with seniors.I am a outgoing caring person and enjoy what i do.

I became a caregiver because I am good at it. I enjoy the one on one dealing with patients,the care i am able to provide,since i have twenty years experience i can take vitals,detect heart prblems. I have found embolisims, detected more than three blockages,catheter care, dementia care and wound care,recently OBGYN skills and above all wound care and I love them all. This is my life!!!

I work in the medical field i love to help those in need just to know that i made a difference in some ones life means alot . my personal and my greatest achievement is when i graduated as a medical assistance . Im a very hard worker love to help those in need and very responsible .

1.) I became a caregiver because at a young age my grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I watched her battle through and eventually she lost the war. On top of the cancer my nana also had a brain tumor, epilepsy, and high blood pressure that needed to be monitored daily. Helping her through her battle and watching her go through her ups and downs gave me the drive I needed to pursue a career in the health field. 2.) What I like mainly about being a caregiver is being able to help others and having success stories. Being able to help others and seeing them be happy even if its for a short period of time makes it well worth it. 3.) A personal achievement that i am proud of is applying and being accepted into a Medical Assistant program. I am proud that not only did I finish the program but i graduated with honors. 4.) Something about myself: I love what I do. The career that I have chosen for myself fulfills me in ways that are indescribable. I love people, I love being able to strike up a conversation about anything to anyone. I am a very family oriented person, my mom has 2 other sisters and my father is 1 of 10 children so family is very important to me. I am the oldest of 3 and have a half sister that is 4. My youngest brother also just had a baby so I have a 9 month old nephew that I couldn't picture life without. I set goals for myself and try my hardest to fulfill the goals i set, whether they're daily, weekly, monthly or yearly goals i try

I became a caregiver because i simply enjoy taking care of people. I love making people laugh as i feel laughter is the best medicine in this world today. I became a caregiver 25 years ago when I started caring for my handicap cousin. (who is now 37) I enjoyed being with her and teaching even the simpliest things that we may all take for granted. She is blind so I would take her ice skating, sledding, etc, anything for a challenge. To see her feeling of power was enough of a reward for me. I knew I wanted to help people in life so I went to school and became a medical assistant/phlebotomist. The challenges and rewards were endless. I worked in a very busy practice where i was able to utilize the knowledge and compassion i have to take care of people.
