Why did I become a caregiver you ask. Growing up I always was around the older women in my family. I loved listening to all the old stories. When my grandma got sick I watched how her CNA will just come in and do her anyway. It break my heart. As I got older the love got stronger for elderly. As a personal care assistant I will provide all client with the physical daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing , getting out of bed, standing or exercising. Ensure client received appropriate diet by reviewing their daily restrictions food , allergy and Preferences. Helping client maintain a stable peaceful experience and to build a strong relationship with me as a personal care assistant as always been my Goal . I chose to be a caregiver from my childhood taking care of my loved ones in my family whoever got sick and was hospitalized, I was number one to go and take care of them, when I grew up, started to take care of my Mom who had diabetes and High blood pressure, came to America and started working in a small assisted living for people with Alzheimer and my passion for care increased .I was so happy to make a difference in these people and make them smile.

I am an adult Female that has a good listening ear. I take initiative and I am physically active and strong. I naturally like helping people and giving them a hand, leaving a person in a better situation than how I found them. For example, I once found a client, depressed and a year long in a wheel chair. Everyday I would encourage her to take a step, even if one. After six months of this practice; she ended up having leg braces and was walking with them plus a cane. No longer in a wheelchair. This is just one of the many achievements, over the years, that I am proud of, in helping different ages, and people from different population, achieve.

Hello, I describe myself as a kind, honest, careful, punctual, very talkative and sporty person. I am 38 years old and I am married to a 74-year-old man, that is why I chose this profession, because since I was little I always shared with older people and that is still my reality. My husband is a box of surprises because of his many experiences, and I like that when I care for and share my work with older people.
