I have more than 10 years experience working (full time) with individuals with developmental disabilities. In group, private residential, community and classroom settings. Also in transportation. I have been told that my compassion towards them is extremely apparent. I am there for the individuals 100%. For their health and well being but also for quality of life. I also believe that promoting as much independence as one can have. When I have worked one to one or in someone's home that was where I felt I could make the most difference. I have worked in medically intensive houses as well as behavior intensive. I also worked for NYSOPWDD and am required to pass an extensive background check, which I have. I absolutely love what I do and have never been told anything other than I do it well. My heart is full when I'm caring for people. I get out of it what I put into it, if not more so. If I can make someone in my care smile, laugh or feel comfort I feel like my day was a successful one!
I am an highly experienced LPN, with 20 years in home care experience. I take pride in providing great care to seniors or medically inclined individuals in their home. I do this privately. I provide flexible hours. Such as, nights, days or a 24-hour period, whatever is needed. While I provide care for you loved one, I earn my pay by cleaning and I am also willing, able and highly trustworthy to do small errands, such as (bills, groceries, etc.) References available upon request. I would love to hear from you. Thank you.
I've been in the care giving field for 10 plus years, and enjoy it. I enjoy helping others, and making a difference in people lives. I'm a compassionate caring person, and I'm kind and patient with my clients. I first started in caregiving when I was a freshman in high school, and voulentered at a nursing home. I also took care of a family member for many years. I got my CNA certification shortly after, and have been doing home care ever sense. I look forward to continuing my career in this field.
I'm 28 years old, I started out with private Home care when I was 18. I grew to love the family I cared for and stayed with them up until they passed, I enjoy getting to know the people I care for and take pride in knowing that I can make a difference in their lives. I work for U of R as a cardiology technician part time and would love to help out a family as well if I could.
