I have 30 years of experience in providing personal in-home care for disabled, cognitively impaired, chronically ill, and hospice patients. I assist patients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. I monitor patients' vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. I am a thoughtful and considerate person who takes pride in providing the best care possible. I became a caregiver through the influence of my great aunt and grandmother as they were the neighborhood caregivers. I watched them as a child and knew I wanted to do the same thing. I began by taking care of my grandmother when she became home bound in her older age. For the past three years, I was the care taker for my mother after she suffered a stroke. The thing I enjoy the most is feeling a sense of joy and humility in assisting those in need in conducting their activities of daily living. They are so appreciative. I consider it a personal achievement when they recover and there is no further need of my services. That confirms that my work with them has improved their quality of life.

Compassion. I have a caring heart , I can keep the client energized through tough times, motivate the client in order to improve the quality of care I offer. Meeting personal care needs like dressing or using the bathroom, is very much my expertise. I know trusting your loved to a stranger, can be overwhelming, but know you have the right person, Who is patient, and understand that when the client feels embarrassed, frustrated or angry as they grow less able to manage their personal need, I am there to consider their perspective and bring them the satisfaction they so desire. I've always been the compassionate person caring for other even when I was teenager. Come up watching my mother and grandmother as nurses and childcare provider it became natural to me. So when started high school I enroll in Nurseing program pass with excellent grades during I class hours we went to nursing home for hand on experience I then new this was what I liked doing. During summer break of school I work at local nursing home facility also had to attend monthly educational inservices were I learn the RESIDENTS RIGHTS,HIPPA, BIOHAZARD POLICY and INFECTION CONTROL .

I am a positive person, patent, listen more, friendly, hard working, and more Before I become a caregiver, I was a cashier at retail store. I enjoyed working as a cashier but it was not what I need. And so, I did not stay long because I need a job that will prepare me for my personal goals so medical field has been a good fit. So I started by taking CNA class. Afterward, I start working a nursing home and home health aide. Currently, I'm working asRMA. I like being a caregiver and RMA because It makes me happy when I met their need. Eventually, being a good caregiver and RMA will benefit me to become a better nurse. All in all, I have a good experience of doing ADL and administering meds.
