I am a Certified Medication Technician , I am also a clinical medical assistant. I have been working in the field of healthcare for more than twenty plus years. I love being a caregiver because it allows me to give back to those who are in need. My experience in this field starting in 1995 as a personal homecare provider for the Baltimore City health department. It while working for this agency I found I had a passion for this field.My most recent job was in assisted living were In worked helping the residents with their medication and daily needs.

I grew up in an extended family setting where it's natural to be caring especially towards the elderly and children. I have a passion for helping especially the elderly.It makes me very happy knowing that everyday on my job I make my client/patient smile,reassure him/her that they can always trust me to take the best care of them like their love ones would.I am a loving,passionate and happy caregiver and i love my job.I take great pride in everything I do. I am currently Medtech and am looking to work as a live-out CNA or caregiver. I have been caring for seniors for over 6years and I really enjoy it. I have worked professionally ranging from private family cases to nursing homes,assisted living and agencies.The warmth, the love and the little thank yous' are what motivate me. I am very patient.honest, compassionate, understanding and very reliable. I do drive and own a vehicle to aide to the outdoor needs of my patients; going out to places,grocery shopping,doctors appointments and fun activities. I also have experience as a recreational therapy assistant thus I learn about the person I am to care for and try to bring in interesting activities to make their days brighter.I like pets, but have a reaction to cats. I am a diligent christian, also a non-smoker nor into drugs.

I became a caregiver because I love to serve and help the needy. Before I started a job as a caregiver, I volunteered at the Pre-Ops of Sinai hospital in Baltimore forsix (6) hours, 3 days a week.I care about people, I am a very loving and caring person, full of empathy and I am learning so much in this chosen career from my clients. I am full of joy, I love to sing, read them poems and sometimes we dance together. I love to dress them up. We play cards sometime and some of them watch their favorite game show on T.V and cooking is also a delight to me. I am a great companion on my one -one cases because I love to be fulfilled at work too.

I have worked with Disabled adults for 11 years and I truly love it. I enjoy helping others to be their best self. I am a CNA and CMT.

I'm a great choice because I have been taking care of others since I was small. From assisting with the care of several relatives battling cancer. To my work with adult with various disabilities. To the care I provide daily to my now adult son with a disability. Taking care of others is my passion. I'm also a Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medication Technician , Phlebotomist, CPR and 1st Aid certified .

What makes me a great caregiver; compassion, love, patients. kindness, and most of all, I am a grandchild, and a child to two parents that showed me lots of love, therefore I am able to pass it on. I also have elderly grand parents that lives overseas, that I don't get to see as often, but speak to all the time. I'm happy to know that they are being taken care of well, by sounding family members. I just don't look at my clients as a job, but as a family member, and would treat them the say way I would want my grand parents to be treated, with care, love, and respect. That's why I am a great caregiver. To add to it, I'm out going, and love to have a good laugh. What I enjoy about care giving, the interaction I have with my clients. The amazing stories from their past, that made them who they are, the history, and traditions that they passed on to the younger generation. A personal achievement of mines, that I am proud of, being the first one to graduate college on my paternal side of the family.
