I'm a certified nursing assistant as well as a certified medication technician. I also have CPR and First Aid training. I have 11 years of experience. I've worked for my current employer for 11 years. I was also a school nursing assistant for 3 years. I have worked with the elderly in their homes.

I have been a Caregiver for both young and old for over twenty years, and now that I have earned my Certified Nurse Assistant certification from Hagerstown Community College, licensed with Maryland Board of Nursing as a CNA (license #: A00190777) and am soon to be registered with Maryland Board of Nursing as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant after having passed the state exam. I am ready to help more clients experience competent, compassionate, and overall excellent care.

I love making a different in the lives of others.after taking care of my grand mother i developed the ability to care for people in need.When I came to the state in 1985 this was the job I acquired and I have being doing it ever since.I had worked in the nursing home setting,,hospital, and private homes. I have a positive impact on my client I smile a lot I'm open to communicate with my client, listened to there concern encouraged them making decisions if the can and to involve them in there care plan.i give ADL care, good hygiene,,cooked, do laundry, serve there meal but if client needs assistance with feeding I will do it. I do client shopping, take client out for recreation, make drs' appointment and take them to there appointment, medications remainder,or administered medications, reports any concerns to family member who is POA.It rewarding when you see your client condition is improving.Care giver job is rewording when you bond with your client and the built trust in you.

I have been raised and continue practicing kindness and compassion for others. I have a keen sense of being aware of when a person is in need ... whether it be needing a drink/food, companionship, or not feeling well. I am a nurturer by nature and being a caregiver is rewarding for me in more than just monetary.
