The reason I become a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of the elderly, sick, and handicapped. I'm a loving, and caring individual. I have a 92 year old mother who I care for, and I also cared for several elderly, and adults with disabilities. My love for helping and caring for others. Being able to assist, and do for them such as bathing, cooking, walking them, shopping, making sure they take their medication as directed, talking to them, and making sure their needs are met is such a joy to me . I became a Caregiver/Home Health Aid while caring for my grandmother who passed away. After she became ill - I cared for her, bathed her, changed her and her bedding, fed her, watched TV and read with her and cooked and cleaned for her.
