Hello I'm a 64 year old nursing assistant. I'm also CPR certified. When I was 15 years old I had to provide care for my grandmother who had had a stroke. Being there for my grandmother made me want to become a caregiver. Whether it's keeping someone company or helping them do things they are know longer able to do. I give 100% with what ever I do. I enjoy listening to clients talk about their life and families. I love to see their faces light up. I have experience with wound care, taking blood sugars and giving insulin. I believe the my job is to make sure that the client receives the very best care. Just like I provided for my grandmother

I'm A 19 years of age and been doing this since I was 18 I all ways wanted to be a caregiver at the end of it all I want to be a RN. What attracted me to caregiving was my grandmother & my aunt who are both in the medical field (one being a cna / gna & other being a RN) i feel like it's in me to help. I enjoy every little bit of it. It's amazing when you can walk in your place of work & your residents or happy to see you knowing they are going to get they care they are suppose to have. My name is Grannette Jones I have been a caregiver and CNA/ GNA for over the last fourteen years I love what I do because, I have a passion for people and for helping others. I also love the fact that I can help someone to become or feel more independent, even though I may be there. I became a caregiver because I took care of my family who was getting older and became ill, and once I did that it opened up a door for me wanting to just help a lot more people. So thats what I did I became certified so that I could help someone out who may of needed my help or just wanted some one around for companionship.
