I am a Certified Medication Technician , I am also a clinical medical assistant. I have been working in the field of healthcare for more than twenty plus years. I love being a caregiver because it allows me to give back to those who are in need. My experience in this field starting in 1995 as a personal homecare provider for the Baltimore City health department. It while working for this agency I found I had a passion for this field.My most recent job was in assisted living were In worked helping the residents with their medication and daily needs.

I am currently Medtech and am looking to work as a live-out CNA or caregiver. I have been caring for seniors for over 6years and I really enjoy it. I have worked professionally ranging from private family cases to nursing homes,assisted living and agencies.The warmth, the love and the little thank yous' are what motivate me. I am very patient.honest, compassionate, understanding and very reliable. I do drive and own a vehicle to aide to the outdoor needs of my patients; going out to places,grocery shopping,doctors appointments and fun activities. I also have experience as a recreational therapy assistant thus I learn about the person I am to care for and try to bring in interesting activities to make their days brighter.I like pets, but have a reaction to cats. I am a diligent christian, also a non-smoker nor into drugs.

I have worked with Disabled adults for 11 years and I truly love it. I enjoy helping others to be their best self. I am a CNA and CMT.

What makes me a great caregiver; compassion, love, patients. kindness, and most of all, I am a grandchild, and a child to two parents that showed me lots of love, therefore I am able to pass it on. I also have elderly grand parents that lives overseas, that I don't get to see as often, but speak to all the time. I'm happy to know that they are being taken care of well, by sounding family members. I just don't look at my clients as a job, but as a family member, and would treat them the say way I would want my grand parents to be treated, with care, love, and respect. That's why I am a great caregiver. To add to it, I'm out going, and love to have a good laugh. What I enjoy about care giving, the interaction I have with my clients. The amazing stories from their past, that made them who they are, the history, and traditions that they passed on to the younger generation. A personal achievement of mines, that I am proud of, being the first one to graduate college on my paternal side of the family.

I have always enjoyed helping other who are in need and have had studied to take care of the elders, as well as do some practices for it. They were some great experiences and enjoyed every moment

I am a great caregiver because I am compassionate and sensitive to the needs and feelings of those in need. I know that those in need do feel emotional pain as well as physical pain and need to be comforted emotionally and physically. Those in need of care need to be told and feel that just because they may not be able to function in the capacity that they are used to or would like to this does not render them unimportant or useless or unlovable and that they can still contribute to life because they still have life and love in them that could make a difference in someone's life. I became a caregiver through taking care of my mother who passed away at age 97 years old. I like being a caregiver because it reminds me of how blessed I am to be able to use what God placed in me to make someone else feel better and do better. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that because I was able to give of myself to care and nurture someone in need of care this brightened my life to appreciate everything and not take everything in life for granted.

What makes me a good caregiver is i charish my job & my clients , i put my all into my work just to make sure my clients are loved an cared for, also smiling at any given time . I have a very outgoing personality , i take the time to get to know , learn & understand others , patients is key for me , when you meet me im like a heart of gold. . what i enjoy most about being a cna is the everyday life of coming to work & seeing your clients smiling , laughin & giggling , the long talks we have about life & different daily activities . The main reason i became a caregiver is majority of the time im always there to assist an help my great grandmother , thats what i take pride in , i felt i should push further with it. Without my loved ones i dont know where i would be. What i achieve is going to school to be a Certified nursing assistant , working different areas to learn new skills and achieve greater goals .

Am mature lady has taken care of my dad who had a stroke,and currently am caring and supporting people with special needs Am motivated by what I saw when caring for my dad and now the Ladies I care for.i enjoy supporting people live their life with joy and be safe and happy knowing they are loved by someone whom they can trust and who respects them. it is my joy to see the smile and the simple thank you , To know that am making someone happy and comfortable is my greatest fulfilment. Am a good listener,dependable,loving ,And attentive to details. This is my calling into a caregiver career as I have taken care of my grandmother who passed on at 103 years and mother who is 81years.i have personal interest and experience on caring for people with different care needs.
