Having worked in the healthcare field for over 31 years. Caregiving for 27 years. I have found assisting people to either regain or maintain their health has been rewarding. However my most rewarding has been assisting the elderly as well as physical and or mentally challenged meet their health goals. As our population grows older, and health challenged, I feel the best respect you can give them is to assist them in maintaining as much of their independence as possible. I currently hold an Associates Degree in Healthcare Administration, I'm currently attending school seeking a bachelors of science degree in Professional Studies.

Hello family, My name is Chukwunonso, but I usually go by "Oz" just to make everyone's life easier :) I am outgoing, playful, and keen to detail. Moreover, I have a big heart! and I always put myself in people's shoes before I say or do anything. With that being said, I have the capacity to care for your loved ones as if they are mine! My desire to become a caregiver stem from when I used to take care of my sick elderly grandmothers. I quickly realized that providing care to those who are unable was something that brought me joy, as well as a sense of purpose. I love getting to know the people I am taking care of. Building a trusting relationship is very pivotal in the overall benefit of a client's well-being. Lastly, I recently graduated (05/2022) with my B.S. Kinesiology so I am very excited about that! I am also an active member of the U.S Navy reserves, with nearly 6 years under my belt. I am simply here to serve, in any way that I can!

I am energetic, observant, and dedicated to all individuals I provide care to. I wanted to be the will that makes a way for individuals who experience challenges in their life is what attracted me to being a caregiver. Before I started professionally, as a teen I cared for my disabled Aunt and elderly grandmother. As long as I can remember I have enjoyed and taken great pride in helping others less fortunate than myself. Providing care in home allows individuals to continue with a comfortable and better quality of life and that is my mission. The quality of my care provides a greater quality of life for those around me.

I have been a care giver pretty much since i had kids. My first born was breech with 2 dislocated hips, she was in a harness the first year of her life. She had her first hip surgery at 5 and her second at 16, my middle daughter is a 15 year ALL leukemia cancer survivor, and my youngest daughter had chairi. My mom was DX in 2016 with waldenstroms macroglobulinemia and I was her care giver for 2 years. I work in Internal medicine now and 90% of my patients are elderly and I just adore them. I listen to their stories and I have so much compassion for these fragile human beings. Caring for others the way I hope to be cared for one day is a passion of mine. I do work a full time job Monday- Friday so ideally evenings or weekends would work best for me, but I am looking to find a new job so I'm willing to go full time with a family.

I have been doing private care off and on for 20 years. I was raised with 3 of my great grandparents and have always been told to respect and help my elders. I feel that many people were not raised with those morals and I pride myself on being a compassionate & caring caregiver. I started out being a caregiver with just my family, and over the years I decided to further my career & education; I was a CNA by 18 years of age, then worked in that capacity for many years, then I was a phlebotomist, a drug screener, a medical office secretary, a clinical medical assistant, and now I am enrolled in college to become a RN. I am very compassionate, empathetic, and understand that elders with dementia issues require a little more care & someone who will not get offended by what they say, and one who will just talk to them with respect. I would be a welcome addition to your family to provide amazing care to your loved one.

I like helping people because it makes me feel good knowing I made a difference in someone else day. It makes me appreciate the little things more, like still being able to have my own independence. I am most proud of serving my country for the past 22 years in the United States Army reserve.

Hello, I just wanted to take a little time to explain to you my passions about being a caregiver. I love the interaction with families and their loved ones. Even if the person I am caring for does not have family support that makes my interaction with them more valuable. I enjoy working with many people of different cultures, because I am always gaining better insight on how to properly care for a variety of unique individuals. It disturbs me to see anyone being mistreated and neglected. My goal is to always enhance the experience of receiving care. It is too often forgotten that it can be a very difficult adjustment for those that are use to caring for themselves or for those that are use to someone in particular caring for them but for many reasons may no longer be able to do so.
