I have been a Caregiver for a little over 2 years now. For some reason I can't explain, but I enjoy spending time, caring for, and being apart of peoples life. Seeing that I can put a smile on someone face make me happy. Knowing that is it the small things in life that make a difference that helps makes someone else life easier, puts everything in perspective.

Hello, I would like to take a moment to share with you what makes me a Great Caregiver and why I would be the best Caregiver for your Love one. I am a Loving, Gentle, Caring, Compassionate, Loyal and Dedicated Caregiver, Wife and Mother of 8 educated adults to young adults. During my teenage years, my great grandmother's bed was set on fire by her caregiver. Thankfully the fire was caught by a family member who came for a visit that day. From that day forward, it has been my desire to care for our seniors and others who are unable to care for themselves. I look at others no matter their race, creed or nationality as equal. My clients become a part of me as I will care and love them as myself. Your love one will always have my undivided attention at all times. Caring for others is part of my DNA.

I'm a great caregiver because I'm friendly and outgoing person I have the patience and the ability to take care of others as they were my own. I decided to become a caregiver because since a very young age I have also been interested in spending time with other people I love to help and make people smile I completed my nursing studies in 2013. My experience for caring for seniors has expanded for over 20+ years. I am a 46-year-old single women.This has been a passion of mine for many years helping and working with the seniors. I am very patient and I have a lot of compassion for seniors and there needs. Assisting with walking and light exercise. Plan and prepare meals, followed by clean-up. Monitor food expiration dates, make future meals. Make beds and change linens, as needed. Light housekeeping to include dusting and vacuuming. Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming. Laundry and ironing. Take out garbage. Run errands (pickup prescriptions, dry cleaning). Engage in physical and mental exercises. Provide medication reminders. Escort on appointments (hair salon, physical therapy, etc.). Escort to religious services or events. Maintain calendar and organize mail. Engage in activities (games, memory books). Companionship. Many references upon request.

Being a cargiver can be a bit of a big deal to some people but for me its a way of life. It gives me a great pleasure to know I contribute to the happiness of the elderly daily . I went into the caregiver profession because I have been taking care of my both parents ,(dad 86 and mom 73) and both parents are still living till today and its a thing of joy and pride for me and I just figured I should extend such love to other families. So , for me caregiving is not about the money but the joy of giving love and care to those who really needs it.
