I've been a CNA for 4.5 years and a caregiver for about 2 years. I did care for an elderly lady prior to being certified as a nursing assistant. I've done all activities such as bathing, eating, mobility, dressing, making beds, taking vital signs, etc

Natural, I show compassion and empathy. I am passionate, and see the good in people no matter the circumstances. Living with my Grandmother was won't of the most exciting time in my life. She was fun to be with, and we enjoyed each other company and she taught me life lessons that has been applied to my life today. Being a caregiver, the client can rest assured that they can be safe and comfortable in their home and they will be provided the care a dignity, compassion and respect they deserve.

I enjoy being around people, I enjoy giving one on one care to people specifically if they are elderly, elderly people enjoy talking about their past I listen well. I enjoy sewing, some outdoor things, cooking, listening to people's past stories they enjoy talking about.

I am currently studying Health Care Administration (online) at Concordia University. I love being able to help people and make differences in people's lives, whether big or small. I have always enjoyed caring after others. I am a compassionate, devoted, reliable, and trustworthy individual. I love making people happy and feel like the best version of myself when I am able to share my knowledge with others! In 2018, I received my PCA & CNA certificate. In 2019, I received my CPR and Stop the Bleed certificate while serving in ROTC. I also completed a 20 week medical course and received my Medical Administrative certificate that same year!

Why did I become a Caregiver? I have been gifted with Compassion and Empathy. My diverse life experiences have allowed me to care for people with Dignity and Grace. I see those I care for as a whole person not Just their disease, disability or situation. During my hands on experience in Group Homes, One on One companionship, Private CNA Caregiver, Nursing Home and Nanny experience. I have acquired many skills and tools that have allowed me to care for others with dignity and grace. Despite their dementia, schizophrenia, autism, Asperger's, or mental illness. The Individuals I care for celebrate this person-centered care. I see and respect them as the most important person in my Now. A personal achievement I am proud of is my Patience, Love and Understanding. My ability to adapt quickly. I moved to Florida three summers ago from Minnesota. I have yet to get used to the Florida summers. However, I do enjoy and embrace the Flora, Foliage and Fauna. I see something new everyday. My new favorite Florida bird is the Painted Bunting.
