I have a long line of care takers in my family so it's always been my passion to help people live their lives to the fullest. It brings me joy to watch the worry fall off their shoulders the minute I walk through the door. Every one of my clients are treated as if they were my own family. I am most proud of my ability to have patients. I have been pushed to my limit several times but I can always remain calm and talk my way through those crisis. I make friends easily but yet manage to stay professional in my work places. I'm a very relaxed and approachable person, I feel that's very important in my field.

I enjoy being around people, I enjoy giving one on one care to people specifically if they are elderly, elderly people enjoy talking about their past I listen well. I enjoy sewing, some outdoor things, cooking, listening to people's past stories they enjoy talking about.

I have a natural personality , willing to serve, with passion, love , care,dependable and honest, .Through my experience for nanaying overseas it develops and frame me to work with dignity and intigrity. Although i have the accent of my speaking language caused i came from Philippines, But I can assure that i can work , and can be trusted . I am willing to switch my job to caregiving from residents associates in one of Senior Living in Faribault MN.

I have always had a passion for Caregiving. I enjoy helping others and find a sense of rewardment and pride in what I do. My biggest personal achivement has been my Registered Nursing degree. I am just taking time to study for my boards. I grew up taking care of my elderly family memebers and knew from a young age I always wanted to be in heath care.

I have been caring for people my entire life from the age of 10 when my mom became ill I care for my 6 siblings. I have worked as a nursing assistant, Hospice aid, Dialysis tech and the past 7 years as an activities assistant in a nursing home/ rehab. As a child my Great Aunt and Grandma lived with us until they pasted away, most recently I took a leave from work to move in and care for my Dad so he could pass away in his own home. I am a caring, loving, understanding and paient person who enjoys the company of a variety of ages and personallities. I was also a toddler teacher at a headstart program which I truelly enjoyed. I am a single mother of 3 grown children and the Grandmother of 9 . I am very active and enjoy camping, biking and hikes with my sibling, neices, nephews, children and grandchildren. I have a dog named Willie who has been working with me at the nursing home for 4 1/2 years and has been a joy to many of the Residents.

I received my CNA/ HHA certification and would like to pursue a position in the nursing/caregiving field. I am also certified in first aid and CPR. I have attended skills USA for 2 years and have competed in medical competitions with winning awards and scholarships.

I BECAME A CAREGIVER BY CHANCE.UNEMPLOYED, NOTHING LOOKING PROBABLE. PACK MY THING MOVED TO MN WHERE MY BROTHER LIVES, MANKATO MN. STILL NOT LOOKING GOOD. WENT TO THE MN. WORKFORCE WHERE I MEET MISS. ELSY A JOB WORKFORCE COUNSELOR. TOOK A JOB ASSESSMENT TEST. MISS ELSY RETURNS THEN ASK,WHO ABOUT BECOMING A NURSING ASSISTANT. THERE'S A NEED FOR MALE CNA'S.NEVER HEARD OF THIS TITLE BUT MISS ELSY BELIEVED I'LL BE GOOD FOR THIS. SHE SENT ME TO SCHOOL AND WOW HOW MY EYES WHERE OPEN. I WAS HURT BUT BECAME INSPIRED ALL AT ONCE.I WISHED I KNEW THIS WHEN MY OLDEST BROTHER HAD A STROKE AND MY MOTHER BECAME VERY VERY SICK.I WAS GIVEN A OPPORTUNITY TO HELP ELDERS AND THOSE WHO NEED ASSISTANT WITH THEIR DAILY LIVING, A CHANCE TO UNDERSTAND AND STOP BEING DOWN ON MYSELF FOR NOT KNOWING HOW TO HELP MY BROTHER AND MOTHER. GOING TO THE MN WORKFORCE CENTER AND MEETING MISS ELSY IS WHY, AND I CAN'T BE ANY PROUDER FOR MYSELF. BECOMING A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT AND REGISTERED ON THE MN NURSING REGISTRY HAS BEEN MY BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT. WORK AS A CNA FOR SEVEN YEARS KNOW FINALLY SETTLED.MY WIFE JOB MOVED US A LOT. I HAD A STROKE IN 2012 WHICH WAS HARD ON ME UNTIL A GROUP A RESIDENTS THAT I ASSIST HEARD I HAD A STROKE AND CALLED. THERE MASSAGE WAS WE KNOW YOU'LL BE FINE BECAUSE YOU NEVER BELIEVE IN GIVING UP ON US AND YOUR CONSTANTLY ASKING FOR JUST A LITTLE MORE. WE ARE ASK YOU TO BELIEVE IN YOU BECAUSE WE DO. THAT VERY SAME DAY I BECAME HOPEFUL AND RETURN TO WORK IN SIX MONTHS,ALTHOUGH MY

I been c.n.a for 17yr and I love doing this kind of work. One thing I can say is dis is my career of choice. I love take care of ealdy people.the most thing I like about my job is the smile I put on my residents face. I'm proud of when I come into work and my residents are so excited to see me. I been c.n.a for 17yr and out them 17yr have not working with ealdy people. I also have my t.m.a license.
