I've been a CNA for 4.5 years and a caregiver for about 2 years. I did care for an elderly lady prior to being certified as a nursing assistant. I've done all activities such as bathing, eating, mobility, dressing, making beds, taking vital signs, etc

I love this job because I love to take care of elderly people and I have been doing it for a long time. These people are very amazing with great experience and I treat them with dignity and respect . I am a person with passion and I take my job seriously to assist my clients with their daily needs. I also play a major roll when it comes to team work . I always go to work on time and i make sure to complete my duties before my shift ends.

I am a certified nursing assistant and medical technician with highly organized, good emotional and professional skills. My interactions with clients/residents has given me so much experience in this field that i'm very willing to share and care for those in need of my services. Working as a nursing assistant for more than five years has been one of the greatest thing I have ever enjoyed in life and will like to pass onto others. I'm very much a people person & highly empathetic. I knew I wanted to be a caretaker/Nurse since high school working as a volunteer in local hospital. I come from a family of caretakers so it's in my genetics. I've done many aspects of caregiving from rooming patients in local clinic to skilled unit in nursing facility & Alzheimer's unit. I love geriatric care due to the respect I have for the elderly. They've earned it for surviving through hardships I've only read about & learned in history class, which brings me to the fact that they have the best stories to tell if able to. I take pride in my care & the bigger the challenge it is with not so happy clients/patients I manage to get them to open up a bit & do my best to turn there frown upside down raising there spirits up. I welcome new challenges & learning about something new especially if it helps my care towards my patient. Dementia/Alzheimer's care is my specialty.

I'm a great caregiver because of my ability to provide basic daily living services to my clients/residents with great respect of their rights and proper communication skills with clients with diverse disabilities. I always make sure to follow my clients/residents care plan or mindful instructions from my supervisor in providing the right cares at the right time. I became a caregiver because I had friends with some physical disabilities that I couldn't just standby without helping.
