Hello! My name is Lori. I am a mother of 4 (almost grown) children, and a daughter of one elderly parent. I have been a Physical Therapist Asst. for 29 years. My mother suddenly passed in 2017. My father has severe dementia, and in her absence, there existed a need for someone to care for him. I fulfilled this role for some time, until the inevitable, appropriate time came for me to return to my family and life back here in Missouri. I personally experienced the process of seeking a suitable caregiver for my father, to help maintain the lifestyle that he had always known. I didn't think that it should be difficult to find this person (people). But, it was, especially in a small rural KS town, considering the financial resources available. I discovered a passion for in-home caregiving. I have been blessed to be able to continue caregiving since that time, and have worked with several wonderful families. I am reliable, competent and compassionate. It is my desire to continue caring for those in need.

I am a passionate individual that has been in the healthcare field since 2005. I have been a certified medication tech, I hold a current Red Cross Instructor certification, Am a public notary, and love helping individuals.

Hello! I am graduating in December from Benedictine College and will be staying in Atchison until May, so I am looking around for a job during that time. I have been studying pre-physical therapy and have just been accepted into KU Med Physical Therapy program. I am CPR and First Aid certified and I have experience as a 24-hour caretaker. I love to cook, go on walks, and make DIY crafts. I am certified in Teaching Level One Yoga and I love helping with strength exercises and encouraging activity.

I enjoy helping and caring for people who need help with there daily living. I love being around elderly and disabled helping them get the most out of there lives and providing them the necessary tools to give the best personal care they deserve. I used to be a personal care attendant about 8 years ago. I took care of an elderly lady with many many health conditions such as but not limited to cancer, copd, diabetes type 2, one leg bound to a wheel chair, and dementia.
