Care giving is something i choose to do out of passion, and dream I love helping older people, just like i love taking care of children too. because I always pray to live longer and old ,so I started by trying to help volunteering weekly because am in to filmmaking,singing and dancing which Is also one of my passion ,but The job comes once a while before i decided to make it a full time job due to my experience with older people, and people with special needs .So what made me a better caregiver is because I care for my clients like they are my own parents and family in a special way.My believe as a caregiver is you need first to love people as you love yourself,then put yourself in their shoes and feel their pains then you will know how it feels that they need more time and care ..

I am a happy person with a great spirit, very patient. I was excited to become a caregiver after helping a family member suffering with liver disease from beginning to post transplant.

What makes me a great caregiver is my heart. I have always cared about the well being of others, it makes me happy knowing that I am able to help people. What I like about caregiving is meeting new people, and being able to do all I can to comfort and help. A personal achievement I am really proud of is working with someone with CP. This person was in a wheel chair for a long number of years, this person gave up long ago. I came in and got to help this person and care for them helped with motaviating this person to start exercising and then we started taking small steps, thru out my years of caregiving with this person. I was able to help get this person out of the chair and to start walking again. It made me feel so good to see smiles from my client and the family because of how I dedicated myself to her, I was able to give hope and was able to see my client do somethings on their own. It is definitely a highlight to caregiving.

Love working with elderly people giving my time to helping others get the best quality of life. Working with the elderly is like walking through a chapter in history. I wanted to make a difference in elderly lives.

I am very good with people and taking care of people I have prior experience from taking care of my grandma who had cancer who is a survivor and also has diabetes I am a good companion for conversation and playing games and stuff like that I can cook and clean and take care of any other necessities needed I am energetic and I do have a reliable means for transportation I would consider myself a good fit for carelinx I have a little bit of experience in a little bit of everything so I look forward to having the opportunity to take care of clients and be there for them as well

I believe what makes me a great CNA is the experience I have. I have 8 years experience working for an agency and independently. I have significant experience with hospice care, dementia, Alzheimers , Parkinson's, COPD, cancers, companion care and the general everyday care of those that can't do things for themselves anymore like cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and showers. I always keep medical books in the homes of my clients/patients. On every shift I always take blood pressure , temperature and oxygen so that Vitals can be monitored regularly for any changes. The medical books will keep logs of daily living such as any Dr appointments, mood changes, medications, vitals, daily diet and activities. It's important to catch/detect any change in health. Communication is big with me on keeping everyone on the same page so that the best care can be given at all times. CNA CPR/First Aide certified. I believe our loved ones get better care at home from one on one care opposed to a nursing home.
