I'm proud of continuing my education into the nursing field. I have my certification in medical assistant and medication aide for adult care. I'm currently taking all my prerequisites classes needed to get into the nursing program at James Sprunt Community college. I enjoy seeing my residents happy and satisfied. I enjoy my Alzheimer's patients the most because they can tell me their whole life story and it makes my day hearing their experiences, I feel so encouraged to come to work because my residents tell me how good of a job I do for them! I got attracted into the health care filed because I wanted a stable career and I wanted to make sure that I do something with my life that I actually enjoyed. I want to come to work happy and leave happy! I have 6 months experience as being a CNA at a nursing home. I assist with ADL, bathing, showers, feeding, mail care, hair care, catheter care, perineal care, cleaning,, using lifts to transfer , changing occupied and unoccupied beds, charting , weights, changing briefs, assisting residents to the rest room using a transfer belt or walker, cleaning out bedside commode.

I'm a hard-working, trustworthy, experienced team player who enjoys helping ones in need.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others. My favorite thing about caregiving is spending time with clients and getting to know them as well as their family members. My biggest achievement regarding caregiving would be obtaining my CNA license at the age of 16.

I love working with the elderly. My grandfather is 93 and I takes care of him. I have been doing this work for 25 years in April 2024. I love to make the elderly laugh by dancing or whatever makes them happy. I get the joy out of just making them happy.

A true professional who will go above and beyond with personal care. I am currently working in LTC, memory care, and assisted living community part time. I have had a lifelong dream of working in the medical industry and caring for people. I have personal experience taking care of 2 elderly people and helping them with daily activities, bathroom, bathing, feeding, doctor's appointments and medication before I graduated CNA school. Looking forward to finding an opportunity to help boost my new career!!! I also have my BLS CPR AED certification-renews on 8/25.

I have been a caregiver for more than 20 years for children and 12years for adults. I am a that enjoys helping people and respect all. Being a caregiver is something I take serious I guess that's why I see it more as a gift than a job. I love to help people and hopeful in my future help to heal people naturally one person at a time. I am a wife and a mother of two boys (13 & 5). I enjoy drawing, reading, traveling, spending time with family. I am a student and enjoy to learn. Something I am proud of is when I cured myself of type 2 diabetes when I was told that I would have it forever.
