I became a caregiver to help others, as I have always possessed an innate desire to do just that. Since elders can't always communicate themselves, I felt a compelling need to do this for them in the best way I knew possible. Naturally, I enjoy that rewarding feeling you get from being a Caregiver but it goes deeper than that.
