I am in excellent health (never smokes, drank or had taken drugs), have a strong back, able to assist with lifting, current on all vaccines and TB test, drug tested, CPR/First Aide certified, no criminal record, clean DMV record and fully insured. I have always had great compassion for those who are sick, the elderly, and disabled. I began my caregiving by volunteering for Hospice for seven years. CNAs happily taught me how to do bed baths, empty urinals, and even how to change bed linens with patient still in bed. I am comfortable, and have experience in just about all facets of caregiving, which includes personal hygiene, including bathing, feeding, safely transferring patient from bed to chair, etc. I am comfortable using a Hoyer lift, and have changed and sanitized urine bags. Upon moving to a new city I began doing home caregiving as a way of paying my bills, and family recommendations kept me busy. I have enjoyed caring for the ELDERY with all kinds of medical problems, and DISABLED people, as well. In addition to passing the background check required for this site, I have a LEVEL II BACKGROUND CHECK which is far deeper than this site requires. I have taken and passed the HHA test, although I did not take the class. I am CPR certified, have had a two step TB test, I presently work for a local caregiving agency, but they are unable to provide me with enough hours, so I am eager to get full time hours! Hi my name is Tammy and I have lived in this area for 46 years. I am a people person and currently care for people from kindergarten to 90 years old. I love people. I started caregiving between my 8th and 9th grade year of school when my mom got very sick. The caregiving I took on at that age was wound care, personal care, companionship, housekeeping, and cooking so I have been at this for a moment. I have been a 24/7 caregiver or family members and work 24-hour shifts with clients because it's not about me and my needs it's about my clients and their needs in order to get them to a better place in life. I would say now looking back I am proud that my mom is my first client.

The reason i love being a caregiver ia because i love to hear from my clients thank you and what will i do without you. I love putting a smile on their face and as well. I treat my clients just as I wanted to be treated .

I love working with people. I love helping and caring for the elderly. It's like caring for my own grandparents. I love having conversations and play board games with my clients.

I am deeply committed to treating my clients with dignity and respect, my goal is to win their trust and alleviate any embarrassment or anxiety they may feel when needing assistance other personal care. I also excel at planning creative activities customized to resident needs and physical/mental abilities. Examples include pet visits from a nearby animal shelter, game nights, outdoor activities, art and visits with my own service dogs if that is something they would enjoy. It can be challenging at times, but I truly enjoy working with each one of my clients. Though I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the clients, the ongoing lessons I have learned from them have in return made a lasting impact in my life.

I have four years of home health experience working with different types of patients, performing job duties such as, bathing, assistance with transfers, meal prep, medication reminders, adls, and other patient care skills.

I love people and helping them however I can. I took care of my grandmother for 5 years and realized how needful care giving services are. Seeing someone who feels alone and many times can't even remember who they are, just smile is a gift to me. Many patients over the years I have cared for and at the end of the journey, I can look back and know I made the last days they lived better. I treat every patient as if they were my mom or dad, grandmother or grandfather. Because they are and they deserve respect and dignity dealing with all the changes age can bring. Hello, my name is Lori. I have several years of experience as a Certified Medical Technician, Personal Care Aide and Home Health Aide. I have experience working in the home as well as at an assisted living facility. A couple of years at the facility I worked in the "Memory Care" (dementia and Alzheimers) homes. I am also fully Covid vaccinated. In addition to the state certifications listed above, I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have experience with catheter and colostomy care as well as diabetic care.
