Outgoing person certified nursing assistant certified for 28 years as well as a medication aid for adult home care certification.. I have experience with rehabilitation, long term care, dementia/Alzheimer's care. Able to pass a drug screen and background screen. My favorite part about being a nurse aid/medical assistant is being able to be that person someone else can lean on and talk to and talk to when needed.. I love to communicate and hear some of the stories my patients/residents share with me. Working in healthcare is something that has been a tradition I guess you can say, in my family. What made me decide to Become a CNA is watching the joy my mother got from helping others and I thought I wanted to do the same.

I'm proud of continuing my education into the nursing field. I have my certification in medical assistant and medication aide for adult care. I'm currently taking all my prerequisites classes needed to get into the nursing program at James Sprunt Community college. I enjoy seeing my residents happy and satisfied. I enjoy my Alzheimer's patients the most because they can tell me their whole life story and it makes my day hearing their experiences, I feel so encouraged to come to work because my residents tell me how good of a job I do for them! I got attracted into the health care filed because I wanted a stable career and I wanted to make sure that I do something with my life that I actually enjoyed. I want to come to work happy and leave happy! I have 6 months experience as being a CNA at a nursing home. I assist with ADL, bathing, showers, feeding, mail care, hair care, catheter care, perineal care, cleaning,, using lifts to transfer , changing occupied and unoccupied beds, charting , weights, changing briefs, assisting residents to the rest room using a transfer belt or walker, cleaning out bedside commode.

I love working with the elderly. My grandfather is 93 and I takes care of him. I have been doing this work for 25 years in April 2024. I love to make the elderly laugh by dancing or whatever makes them happy. I get the joy out of just making them happy.

A true professional who will go above and beyond with personal care. I am currently working in LTC, memory care, and assisted living community part time. I have had a lifelong dream of working in the medical industry and caring for people. I have personal experience taking care of 2 elderly people and helping them with daily activities, bathroom, bathing, feeding, doctor's appointments and medication before I graduated CNA school. I have been a caregiver for more than 20 years for children and 12years for adults. I am a that enjoys helping people and respect all.
