What attracted me to be a caregiver is being there for people who can't be there for themselves. I love helping others, a personal achievement for me is being a mother.

I'm proud of continuing my education into the nursing field. I have my certification in medical assistant and medication aide for adult care. I'm currently taking all my prerequisites classes needed to get into the nursing program at James Sprunt Community college. I enjoy seeing my residents happy and satisfied. I enjoy my Alzheimer's patients the most because they can tell me their whole life story and it makes my day hearing their experiences, I feel so encouraged to come to work because my residents tell me how good of a job I do for them! I got attracted into the health care filed because I wanted a stable career and I wanted to make sure that I do something with my life that I actually enjoyed. I want to come to work happy and leave happy! I have 6 months experience as being a CNA at a nursing home. I assist with ADL, bathing, showers, feeding, mail care, hair care, catheter care, perineal care, cleaning,, using lifts to transfer , changing occupied and unoccupied beds, charting , weights, changing briefs, assisting residents to the rest room using a transfer belt or walker, cleaning out bedside commode.

hello, my name is Zoe. I'm a mom to a two year-old boy. I have four siblings two our autistic one is nonverbal. I have experience in caregiving. I used to work at RHA health services in Lagrange, North Carolina with my clients, i bathed, groomed, dressed and cared for them and like they were my own. i'm currently in school to get my CNA. I'm taking clinicals right now and I'm working for a company in new Bern as a PCA. I only have a few clients and looking for more work!

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others. My favorite thing about caregiving is spending time with clients and getting to know them as well as their family members. My biggest achievement regarding caregiving would be obtaining my CNA license at the age of 16.

I love working with the elderly. My grandfather is 93 and I takes care of him. I have been doing this work for 25 years in April 2024. I love to make the elderly laugh by dancing or whatever makes them happy. I get the joy out of just making them happy.
