When I was 12 to 17 I lived with my great grandpa and took care of him I gained a passion for caregiving. I really enjoy helping people that are in need. I'm proud to say I'm a mother of one little girl and she has definitely advanced my caregiving skills. I love spending time with my family and taking care of them as well. I'm very fun and outgoing.

I would say my expertise of me being a caregiver is that I'm patient , kind & show respect to the client and their families. Providing quality care is my goal. What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I had the pleasure of help taking care of my great grandmother and my great great grandmother up until god called them home. He has taught me more patience and understanding of people with diverse needs. I feel as though my personality helps me be a good caregiver. Being able to talk to clients helps a lot I enjoy being able to know that I make a change for my clients. I like making many new clients. Lots of my clients have no family. And I become family as I'm working with them. I'm proud for being a CNA but my greater accomplishment includes being accepted in RN school. Currently on leave for some things before heading back. I have been providing care for individuals since I was 14. I started out in a nursing home as a volunteer and continued working there until my late teens. At which point I got my CNAs and began doing home care.
