Hi, my name is Lynette. I'm a very nurturing and passionate caregiver of 14 years. PCA certified since 2005, Medication Technician certification since 2015, and CPR/ First Aid certified. I became interested in the healthcare field during my teenage years assisting my aunt with her patients. My most enjoyable moments of caregiving is being able to assist with daily living by giving the client as much independence as possible. Watching the excitement on their faces as they accomplish different tasks is so liberating. Most greatest achievement I'm proud of would be my capabilities and willingness to help service people with healthcare needs.

I am a good caregiver because i"ve been doing this humble profession for over 22yrs. though i had an 8 hrs job before, i still do it on a weekend or sometimes during the night if some clients will request. I love the elderly because for me they are the most interesting people to be with, no boring time being with the old community. They always have an interesting story to tell, sick or well they are still interesting, For me, I treat them as my own, some of them are worrier, some of them are lonely, some of them are happy go lucky but most of them just need our kindness and compassion. I am a good cook, i work in an organized and systematic manner with the application of proper technique and dedication. i see to it that the client will be properly taken care of. Most of all I give them my tender love and care , see to it that i treat them with respect and dignity.

What makes me a great caregiver is my ability to be empathetic and understanding to every situation. I'm a genuine person who understands how to listen to a individuals needs and provide excellent service and companionship. I enjoy listening to individuals and seeing their responses and the level of happiness they experience when they encounter someone who cares for them and are interested in what they have to say. I'd say punctuality and dependability are my biggest strengths.

I am an amazing, nurturing, and caring person. I have not had a professional hospital job before, however i have been taking care of both my ill grandmother and grandfather for the past 5 years who both have suffered strokes. I have experience working with a variety of diagnoses due to working as both a physical therapy assistant and an Exercise Physiologist. Some of those diagnoses include post-stroke, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, peripheral neuropathy, sciatica, post-joint replacements, various cardiovascular diseases, and more. I am very good listener and outgoing. I love the feeling I get from helping others and making them smile. I was always interested in being in the medical field from a very young age. Right out of high school I geared myself up to work with the elderly. I fell in love with helping my patients day better, making them smile and laugh. What I enjoy most about being a care giver or shall I say helping others is knowing that I made their day a bit easier, I never like to leave a person feeling anything but better than when I walked in the door. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of today is being the best mother I could be and seeing my first born off to college, I could not be more proud.

I am interested in making others feel happy about their personal self. I like helping elders and people with disorders because I feel like it is just the right thing to do for someone who can no longer help themselves. I am a very conscientiousness person and my goal with every client is to make the best decisions for their care plan. I tend to be able to feel the needs of my clients. I am empathetic and this allows me to pay attention to details others would normally overlook. I have always been a caregiver in some form or another my entire life. I have especially been pulled in by the seniors and babies. I don't like to see my seniors suffer or alone or deficient in any way. It breaks my heart to see them put away like a burden.
