Hello, My name is Jenna McCormack and I have been a caregiver for about 13 years. I received my CNA license when I was in high school. My interest in caregiving first began when my grandparents became sick and I had felt after their passing I wanted to do something to help other people in their honor. I became a caregiver after my grandfather had cancer and passed away. My Mom said that I was really good with taking care of people that were elderly. I feel as though I am wise for my age, and would rather be around the elderly and have a conversation than with those of my own age. I love giving back. I get far more out of it than they do. When I leave and go home, I feel like I did something special that day, I cared for another person. That means a lot to me. One of the traits I have that make me a good caregiver is that I am very detail oriented. I follow through completely until the job is done. I do not rush.
