I'm 59 years old and have raised 5 children. I have experience in caring for older people. I just finished with CNA1 class and will be taking NC State Exam soon. I'm very kind and compassionate and love being able to help older ones. I'm very proud of passing the class. I was the oldest person in the class.

I became a caregiver about 6 years ago. As a child I took care of my grandmother when she was sick and had surgery and I really enjoyed it. When I got in my teen years my mother had to have a major operation and ended up with a nasty infection, so I got to clean and change bandages and give her medications via IV and this has been my passion ever since. I love working with people to help them with daily needs that they can no longer do on their on. I also enjoy spending time and getting to know the people I work with. I am proud to say I have been to school and gotten my CNA I certificate and am currently enrolled in school to get my Associates degree of Applied Science in Medical Assisting. I am working to get my RN and hopefully will not stop until I have my Mastered degree. I have always wanted to work in the medical field since I was a little girl to help people that are sick and/or unable to care for themselves. I am a single mother of 5 wonderful and smart little boys and have worked hard to be a wonderful mom, wonderful caregiver, and hard working student. I want to make a difference in peoples lives and give a extra hand where I can!
