I would descibe myself as a highly empathetic, compassionate person, that has always been drawn to and found it very rewarding to care for others. That is why I am so passionate about the well being of my patients, being able to assist others so they can stay in their homes safely, with the confidence of knowing the person that is caring for them is not only prepared to take the necessary measures to aid them if any possible issues should arise but that their caregiver (myself) is not just doing a job, my patients know that I am a caregiver that really cares.

I've been a certified nursing aide in South Carolina since 2012. I have worked with hospice patients, disabled, patients in recovery period after surgery, and mostly senior clients. I have been a caring giver since childhood from traits inherited from my mother whom was a RN. I originally took a course in HHA in 2008 as a means to educate myself to properly care for my mother when she suffered from a stroke. I began working as an HHA in 2011 and later obtained my CNA licensing within the same year. It has been rewarding assisting others achieve activities despite limitations and often regaining their independence.

I'm a great caregiver I love caring for the older population,I got interested in home health care by taking care of a lovely lady from our church. I learned a lot from her! It made me want to continue in this field and continue my education and go back to school to learn how to be a clinical medical assistant.

I've been Care Giving for 7 years took care of my mom for 6. I've worked for a few agencies. Now I want to work privately. I'm a great caregiver because, I'm very compassionate about people. Especially the elderly. I became a caregiver because of my mother. She was a live-in. I did everything from paying bills, grocery shopping, Dr's. Appointments etc. Care Giving is in my blood. My grandmother was a caregiver before agencies were around. I suppose that's another reason why I'm looking to go private.

I know that I am a great caregiver because I am compassionate, detail, and professional caregiver. I love providing assistant to others that are in need of assistance with recovery from the hospital environment to giving help with the elderly patients that are not able to do certain things for themselves and not need help in their daily living activities. I became a caregiver to provide a service in a way of giving back to society in a positive way, reaching out to others that appreciate getting help. To see a big smile on a client's face, knowing that they are happy and pleased with the services provided. I am proud to say that I have worked with handicapped children for 13 years with several different disabilities. I have years of experience as a home health employee and as a certified nurse assistant in the hospital environment.
