Hello! My name is Adrianna Gullette and I recently graduated from Montreat College with my bachelors in health science looking to go further in my education, potentially to Physician Assistant school or nursing school. I am currently completing my masters in criminal justice at Mars Hill University. I am looking to expand my knowledge and experience in healthcare and patient care as much as I can. I have 2-4 years of patient care experience as I have taken care of my grandparents, volunteered in the student health center at school, and worked as a caregiver for an agency.

I genuinely love working with all individuals needing support or care. My friends refer to me as "the mom" of the group. I do not have children but have a background in childcare throughout college. I spent a lot of time helping my grandmother growing up and until she passed. My suffered from multiple heart attacks, low blood pressure, cancer, and more. I have a very positive personality. I am soft when needing to be soft and I am enthusiastic when I need to be more alive. I am wonderful at keeping everything organized and attended to. I have a culinary background and I LOVE to cook and bake. My friends and family often brag about my menu's. I have trainings that certify me to cook and respect food allergies or restrictions. I am so attracted to helping care for another because I feel as if I can really help in the world. My favorite part of being a caretaker is to having the option to learn about another human being. My biggest person achievement would have to be working a Recovery Program. I grew up with a lot of trauma surrounding me. This disadvantage taught me a lot of sensitivity and love. I feel confident to care for others with a compassionate and professional manor.

I started being a caregiver when my father was diagnosed with dementia. It was challenging at first but I found a love of taking care of people that just needed help. I have had the opportunity in life to serve our country and my community in Maryland to be a firefighter. Now I have found that caring for individuals is a passion of mine.

I have worked with short-term, long-term, and dementia residents at a nursing home for close to three years. I have had the privilege of caring and meeting many incredible people to whom I have developed close relationships with throughout the years.
