I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant with the State of North Carolina for 9 years. My certification is current. I am also BLS/CPR certified which is also current. I have worked in long term care settings as well as assisted living. I am very passionate about what I do. I love helping people and taking care of them when they can no longer care for themselves. This job humbles me daily for him to be so happy in his condition. I have taken up quickly and learnt a lot. That's my proudest accomplishment. One thing about me, very hard worker with the biggest heart you'll ever meet. I put everything into making sure he is taken care of, and happy. I always knew this was the field I was called to be in. Hi, my name is Savannah I am 19 years old and a Hendersonville High School graduate. I have had my CNA1 certification for a year and have almost 6 months experience. I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people and making the world an easier place to live in. I obtained my certification through the allied health program in high school. This is a two year long program. My first year I received the allied health most improved student award for 2012. I became a Caregiver because I love the thought of helping someone in need. I am a firm believer in the Word of God by loving and serving someone who needs the assistance. I wanted to be there for people, to encourage them to have hope for it is the anchor of our souls. What I like about being a Caregiver is that not only are you caring for someone but your getting to know them, building personal relationships, and growing together in the work you do. I also love hearing stories, talking with them, how they were raised, what makes them happy or sad, how life was 50 years ago, what makes them feel appreciated or not appreciated and much more! A personal achievement I am proud of is that I have never been wrote up, got in any kind of trouble, neglected my patients, been fired, I also have had the experience to do medical work in Mexico villages for 2 months with a missionary team I went to school for! I am 21 years old and super outgoing. People who know me ask why I smile so much. I have been a missionary for 2 years on and off, now I am wanting to get back into working. I am a Christian, I am NOT ashamed, and I know because of Christ, He is the reason why I love this work.
