I was attracted to being a caregiver due to my grandmother passing in 2006. She was in a nursing home and I was young but still didn't spend the time I should have with her. Her care took a dramatic turnaround and we lost her quickly but quicker than expected. 3days and told we had a few weeks. I made a promise to her then I would make sure that I would go into the field of nursing to help and be there for others in whatever position I'm in to support them and give them the love they need to be ok. At the end of the day I know I've made a difference in someone's life. I feel full of love when someone's else is benefiting from me working.
