I genuinely care about my clients. In addition to doing my job in a professional manner, I treat all of my clients with kindness, respect, and dignity. As a teen, I helped my mother care for my grandmother and always enjoyed spending time with her. My own mother is a dementia patient with diabetes and I am involved in her care as well. I truly enjoy working with seniors assisting them with independence and a better quality of life.

I have been a caregiver for 4 almost 5 years now and I love caring for others I've been had the love for it and I will continue to love and enjoy everything that I do. The thing that got me attracted to caregiving is my mother watching her take care of others and I always wanted to fulfill the need of being a caregiver to the elderly and anyone else. I was their to open doors, move chairs, get things when needed, or help them out when they were tired. Over time it was recognized then was nominated for the Service Above Self Awards.

What make me a good caregiver is my love for caring for the elderly. I like to see those in need being taken care of and especially not being abuse but loved. I also have a child that was born with cerebal palsy and much care at birth was needed. It was very hard finding someone to work with him, this is why I have taken on caring for my son.

Caregiving is something that has always come naturally to me. I started at the age of 11, visiting with residents in nursing homes , and now I work with individuals that prefer to stay in their own homes in the end of life. I have experience with alzhimers/dementia, diabetes, oxygen tanks, medication administration and cathaters. Grooming is my specialty and cleanliness is key. I treat my patients with kindness and respect just like with my own family. Keeping my patients happy, healthy, and comfortable is important to me.
