I genuinely love working with all individuals needing support or care. My friends refer to me as "the mom" of the group. I do not have children but have a background in childcare throughout college. I spent a lot of time helping my grandmother growing up and until she passed. My suffered from multiple heart attacks, low blood pressure, cancer, and more. I have a very positive personality. I am soft when needing to be soft and I am enthusiastic when I need to be more alive. I am wonderful at keeping everything organized and attended to. I have a culinary background and I LOVE to cook and bake. My friends and family often brag about my menu's. I have trainings that certify me to cook and respect food allergies or restrictions. I am so attracted to helping care for another because I feel as if I can really help in the world. My favorite part of being a caretaker is to having the option to learn about another human being. My biggest person achievement would have to be working a Recovery Program. I grew up with a lot of trauma surrounding me. This disadvantage taught me a lot of sensitivity and love. I feel confident to care for others with a compassionate and professional manor.

I have worked with short-term, long-term, and dementia residents at a nursing home for close to three years. I have had the privilege of caring and meeting many incredible people to whom I have developed close relationships with throughout the years. I have helped many of my residents recover through rough post surgeries, as well be a constant friend when they have needed someone to talk to. I love caring for others and enjoy being a helping aide for those who can't help themselves anymore.

I was working as a housekeeper in 2004. I was approached and asked if I would love to be a caregiver! I prayed about it and said yes! I felt like God put me where I'm supposed to be. My experience has gave me 18 yrs of many fond memories, relationships and wonderful people have crossed my path! I feel that people cross your path for a reason, season or a lifetime!
