I have been a professional care giver for over 8 years , But been one for over 20 years. I started caregiving when my mother got sick in 2001 , she lost sight and hearing So being the eldest among my siblings , I had to come up with a care plan Care giving then became a passion I hold a Bachelor's Degree in social work which made me love care giving more. I then studied care giving because it gives me a lot of satisfaction when I see someone smile , get back on their feet,and out of danger because of my service, trust me I do understand what families go through because I've been there n still there. I have taken care of people with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, dementia, development disability, diabetics, stroke , Physical disabilities, people on hospice and many more. I have worked in Adult family homes, assisted living facilities, memory care facilities and individual clients in their homes

am a well experienced home health aid. Passionate, reliable and dependable . 8 years of experience in this field caring for patients with MS, Dementia, Alzheimer, stroke, cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, respiratory disease, diabetes, fall risk, depression. And hospice care. My responsibilities were, transportation of patients to doctors appointment, bathing and dressing them up, companionship, making beds, doing laundry remind or give medicine to patients, check vital signs or apply lotion to dry skin areas, change bandage, light house cleaning, am able to lift my clients, transfer them in and out of wheelchair to their beds. I can also manage using a Hoyer lift. I have excellent communication skills guided by good relationship with clients, strong work ethics since am dedicated to getting the job done, positive attitude, time management abilities, self confidence, ability to accept and learn from criticism, flexible and l love my job and very hardworking.
