I am a natural-born caregiver. Caring for others has been a skill that naturally came to me. I am fun, loving, outgoing, and have a very big heart. I enjoy meeting new people. One of my biggest reasons for being a caregiver is the satisfaction you have at the end of the day, knowing you helped another person and left a positive impact on their day.

I started in 2020 by getting my LNA license finally after working at maplewood nursing home for almost 5 years . The relationships ,and bonds that I formed with my residents is what meant the most to me .That I could help them with anything extra ,anything to maybe turn their day or moment from negative to positive .I have a very big heart and take pride in what I do . I am a very hard worker ,but also a very good listener . Past and current jobs have told me that they like my judgement and kind heart the most . I enjoy every aspect of LNA work,and also the homecare I am doing . I am hoping to start nursing school for my RN next fall . I am always looking forward to new people and helping whoever I can .I also grew up as a kid going to care facililities where my father had always worked .doing activities ,watching tv with them ,or like I said just LISTENING . So I have had a spot in my heart for this kind of work for a long time . I am always on time if not early . And always willing to go above and beyond for the people I am caring for ,but also do what is best for their health. Positivity is key!

I love being there for people who need day to day help whether it's just to talk or run errands .i have worked both in nursing homes as well as home care and extremely enjoy the quality time you are able to spend with ones who need help.

I have become, what I consider myself to be, an amazing caregiver. I have a huge heart and i tend to put everyone I care for above and beyond everything else. I listen carefully to peoples needs as well as wants and do my very best to provide what is expected by them or the families NO QUESTION. I decided I wanted to be a caregiver at a young age. My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and everyone in my family brushed it off as just 'old age'. Well, I wanted to learn more about this dementia and see what I could do to help better her life and the lives of others in this predicament. What I am proud of most is all the positive feedback from families as well as co-workers, managers included, about how great I am and how lucky a place or family is to have me. I have many personal achievements but the one I am most proud of, is I will ALWAYS and forever as long as I am caring for loved ones of my own or others, put quality over quantity. I have learned that people need good care no matter the life span, young or old.
