My first experience is when I started taking care of my grandmother 4 years ago Then I fall in love just knowing that I am able to help someone in there time of need if they can't help them self be a companion. working at the nursing home give me some good experience hands-on experience knowing that I am being able to help someone care for someone be there for them in their time of need and that's what's me that's what makes me happy. I decided to become a caregiver because I realized there are people that need help due to no fault of their own. Life is unpredictable and I realize one day I will be the one who needs to be taken care of. I believe in karma and can only hope I will be cared for the same way I care for others. One thing I love about being a caregiver is I get to meet alot of great people with great stories and big hearts. One of my biggest dreams was to go back to school and advance my education. After having my first child, that dream was put on hold but im proud to say Ive managed to return to college and am now pursuing my degree.
