I became an Independent Contractor/ Caregiver because I want to leave each life that I touch better than when we first met. I want to make a difference, to make things better, to heal the hurt and to calm the fears of my patients and their families. One of my personal achievements that I am very proud of, is that I go above and beyond for my patients. I am a very caring, loving and sympathic to my patient's needs.

What makes Me a caregiver is taking of a different veriety of people everyday to mate sure they are cared for and protected. I have chosen to be a care giver because I love helping people and I'm very compassionate in the skill of doing my job in this field I am in.

What makes me a great care giver is, I treat people how I want to be treated.i also became a certified nurse aide (C.N.A) when taken care of my father at the age of 19 when he became Diagnosed with lung cancer. Right after he passed away. I went to CNA school in the year of 2001 Graduated received my certification. I have my CPR certification as well.I been employed at my job for 16 years as of this comein March 10,2019 it will be 17 years that I have been Employed at Deermeadows. And what makes me so different and rare , is most people work just to get a pay check, but when you careing for a human life ITS A MUST that you have a heart A compassionate heart at that.I also work on a Dementia/Alzheimer's unit as well at deermeadows. However I got promoted around 2010 to a (R.N.A) Restorative nursing aide Position.iam also skilled with hoyer lifts and Sara lifts,as well currently working mon-Friday 6am-2pm off every weekend.but will work on call,on holidays ,and Emergencies.

My first experience is when I started taking care of my grandmother 4 years ago Then I fall in love just knowing that I am able to help someone in there time of need if they can't help them self be a companion. working at the nursing home give me some good experience hands-on experience knowing that I am being able to help someone care for someone be there for them in their time of need and that's what's me that's what makes me happy. I am unique I have experience and I am compassionate for elders that are in need. Empathy is something else I bring to the table I am all for the client. When I was a child my grandmother became sick and needed assistance from caregivers they treated her well, furthermore she was an LPN and only wanted the best interest for her patients. I thought it would be great to help elders also have a positive mind set even on a not so good day. Have patience and listen. I must be reliable for my client and the family there is a job that needs to be done and I want them to know they can depend on me. I am trustworthy and honesty is a must. I've watched aides help my grandmother from 1996 to 2004 and they showed me things everyday they came so I would be able to help out myself when they are not there. I started working in home care 2009 after graduating school for medical assisting. I bring great work ethics love and care. Everyone needs someone to depend on and that is me. Thank you
