I've been a E.M.T since 2004, worked at Northwell Health for 12 years. At the age of 16 I took care of my mom who was sick with cancer, she didn't want anyone but me to touch her. That is what put in my mind the thought of helping other who were sick. I enjoy helping people and making sure they get the proper treatment and treat all patients as if they were my family member. Becoming a E.M.T and working in the hospital.

My personality traits that makes me a great caregiver is my smile and the facts that I put my clients 1st and I don't treat them like they are just my clients I treat them like my family member that making them feel more relaxed and with that they can feel comfortable around me and might also trust me, I became a caregiver after my mum fell and taking care of her was everything for me since then I developed passion and love for helping older people not just for my mum but for older people in my community. What I enjoyed most about been a caregiver is the joy and happiness I feel when I see a smile on their face and been the reason behind that and when they look forward to seeing me the next day that alone makes me feel happy and so proud of myself knowing that I did that makes it all worth it for me.

I'm very empathetic and dedicated to my job as being a caregiver. At a young age I've developed the necessity to provide care to those who need it. The most I enjoy about being a caregiver is obtaining a well-rounded relationship between the client's friend or family member, the client themselves, and mine. What I enjoy the most is the appreciation I get from the client and their loved ones. One of the personal achievements I'm proud of is being calm, and knowing what to do in worst case scenarios.
